Winterfest On Broadway 2009

Winners at Winterfest On Broadway 2009

More than a thousand people came to the Broadway District this Saturday, January 31, 2009 for Winterfest On Broadway to see the 14 carvers compete in the Amateur and Advanced divisions of the Husqvarna Ice Sculpting Competition and local restaurants don their (cooking) mits to compete in the People’s Choice Chili Cookoff. In each event, a prize: the coveted Winterfest On Broadway medal and prizes. In the end, there could only be one winner in each category, although everyone who competed brought their A-game to this event!

Winners are:

People’s Choice Chili Cookoff: Record attendance, and hungry patrons waiting for their first scoop of chili proved a difficult challenge for the People’s Choice Chili Cookoff, but the community has spoken. The winners are:

Participants: Cheffetta’s, Knuckles Sport Bar and Grill, Parisi’s Delicatessen, Monzu Bistro and Titletown Brewing Co.

The Winner of the Chili Cookoff recieved a certificate and $200.00 cash prize.
