Board of Directors

Like many organizations, OBI is overseen by a Board of Directors. The Board is made-up of a variety of members, representing the various stakeholders affected by the organization, such as neighborhood residents, district businesses, and the City of Green Bay.

The board also has representation from each OBI committee. As a Main Street program, OBI follows a five-point approach to revitalization. Those aspects include Design, Economic Restructuring, Marketing, Organization and Promotions. Each aspect has a committee of community members volunteering their time and expertise towards each of those areas. A chair is designated for each of those committees, and those chairs sit on the OBI Board.

It is the Board of Directors’ job to see that these aspects are working together optimally and cohesively, as well as serving the best interest of the organizations’ stakeholders. Collectively, Board Members discuss and manage the organization’s overall priorities, projects and resources.
